IN SERCH OF A SUPER KID
ICICI Prudential Life Insurance in association with National Geographic Channel has launched the quest for India’s super kid. One of India’s biggest hunts, the event will culminate in identifying on November 14, 2006 India’s “Nat Geo Junior” , who will host the Nat Geo Junior show on the National Geographic Channel and will be granted the Nat Geo Junior Fund to purse his/her future education.
Over 3.5 lakh children from 380 schools spread across 10 major cities are being tested for analytical, logical and general knowledge skills. Open to children from 10-14 years of age, ‘Nat Geo Junior Hunt’ qualifies over 500 students from every city for the respective city finals.
Commenting on the initiative, Sujit Ganguli, Vice President (Marketing), ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, said, “with a plethora of educational opportunities available today, we believe ‘Nat Geo Junior Hunt’ will serve an ideal platform for children to recognize and display their analytical and extra curricular skills with confidence.”
According to Rajesh Sheshadri, Vice President (Marketing), National Geographic , “The nationwide talent provides a dual benefit for children to showcase skills outside of just academic performance: and for parents to be equipped to manage the financial requirements of their children’s higher education at various stages.”
