HI TECH GADGETS FOR TEACHERS
Use of information technology in imparting quality education in schools was best exemplified by an ensemble of hi-tech gadgets at “Techbar” in The Association of International Schools of India conference at ICRIDAT on Sunday.
Right from Classmate PC, an interactive classroom teaching devece likely to hit the market next year, a Tablet PC, for the school principal to a Palm Top device for the parent to keep a tab on his ward and to top it all a note taking and handwriting device with digital pen attatchments were on show at the Techbar.
The consortium of IT giants, including Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Intel and Pacsoft, unveiled a new concept in imparting education in schools titled ‘Connected Learning Community’ in which all the schools can be connected with each other in the country and outside.
