MAKE THE LESSON INTERESTING

In school, geography is taught from the primary school onwards. But some of the teaching is from textbooks and where necessary interposed with sketches, maps and photographs. But geography is more than just an examination subject. The charm of Physical geography is that it can be observed. Much of what is seen is a dynamic manifestation of the geology and geomorphology of the area. Rock types and soil are essentially evolutionary in character. It is here models, like maps, provide for in house briefing of the field expressions of geographic forms i.e. land forms, be land or water.

Why is a hill or a mountain where it is? Or why is a valley where it is ? This distribution of landforms is the result of the cause and effect relationship. This can be best explained by using models.

Bharat Geo Guides has produced geographic models, charts, CDs, and practical models to serve schools and colleges.
